CTT is proud of our long association with legendary entertainer Rod Stewart.
Rod is one of the best-selling artists in the history of recorded music and a master performer. The Blood Red Roses Tour features a stellar design by Mark Cunniffe and has packed stadiums and arenas all over the UK and Europe in 2019. We worked closely with Mark to deliver a show that features and compliments Rod’s style and history. Months of planning, design, and fabrication yielded a result that has wowed crowds at every tour stop. We packaged this system for a variety of venue types and sizes to provide daily consistency and ease of load in/out. These details are very important for a client that shifts from a packed stadium one day to a sold-out arena the next.
The Cunniffe design features a huge upstage wall, 60’ w x 40’ h, as well as an “eyebrow” header and portrait “legs”. The upstage wall consists of 576 tiles of 12mm KTL Flyer 12, while the eyebrow and legs are created with a total of 300 ROE Visual Carbon CB5 panels in Air Frames. Brompton SX 40 processing makes it easy to manage all of the pixels. Five manned Sony cameras, as well as a complement of Sony Robo cams, capture the large band and massive amount of talent on stage. Disguise GX2 media servers were a must for this show with highly detailed visual content and multiple screen surfaces.
